This also came across the wire earlier this week from the Hayden for Congress Campaign. Tim Clark should consider proofing his stuff before it goes out as I doubt that Jay Stern is thrilled to have another Republican in the AD 46 race:

Congressman Campbell Joins Growing List of Hayden Supporters

(Santa Ana, CA)- Today, Congressman John Campbell announced his public endorsement of GOP conservative and 46th Assembly candidate Jerry Hayden. This support is coupled with that of several other locally elected officials including Assemblyman Don Wagner.

“Jerry Hayden understands that job creation, not more government spending, is the solution to fixing our struggling economy,” said Congressman Campbell.  “I am pleased to endorse Jerry because I am confident in his commitment to real solutions that will cut through the red tape in Washington and allow businesses to grow and hire again.”

Congressman Campbell, an Orange County native, serves on the House Financial Services and Budget Committees, as well as the Joint Economic Committee. Additionally, as a member of the House Republican Policy Committee, John joins a select number of Members responsible for recommending policy initiatives to House Republican leadership.

“I am honored to have the endorsement of Congressman Campbell,” says GOP candidate Jerry Hayden. “Liberals like Loretta Sanchez are hurting the future of our country. It is time we fight back and I am prepared to do so.”

For over twenty years, Jerry Hayden has directed successful financial and investment strategies for Orange County families and businesses. Jerry has also given his time to the community, including serving eight years as the volunteer freshman football coach at Foothill High School. Jerry also served on the Board of Directors for School Power, where he helped raise tens of thousands of dollars to fund public school teachers’ extra budgetary classroom needs.

Those around Jerry Hayden know he is a hard-working advocate for better public schools, more private sector job opportunities, and greater efficiency in government.

The youngest of 11 children, Jerry Hayden grew up in Garden Grove and in the Santa Ana/Tustin area, where the family bought a home on a lemon orchard. His father was a doctor and Colonel in the United States Army Reserves. Jerry Hayden completed his Bachelors’ Degree in Business Finance from San Diego State University. Jerry, his wife Helen and their daughters Lauren and Katie enjoy the California outdoors in their free time and celebrate Jerry and Helen’s wedding anniversary every 4th of July.
