2-27-2012 Central Committee (AD 55) Filing Update

Posted by Former Blogger Chris Emami on February 27, 2012

Here is part 1 in this 7 part series that is going out this week on the blog.

Thank you to Meridian Pacific for the use of the map to show this district:

This Assembly district is currently represented by Assemblyman Curt Hagman and represents Yorba Linda, Placentia, La Habra, Brea, and some areas outside of Orange County. With that being said here is the break-down of who has pulled papers:

Brenda McCune– We are clearly rooting for our fellow OC Political blogger to pull out a victory in this seat. She is a businesswoman who has ties to the community.

Tim Shaw
– He is currently the Mayor of La Habra and works for State Senator Bob Huff. He did not get the endorsement of the OC GOP back in 2008 over his support for a tax increase.

Robert Lauten– He is currently a candidate for the United States Senate in what looks like it is going to end up being a crowded field.

Dennis R. White– I was not able to find any information about this individual.

Jim Domen– He is a pastor in Yorba Linda who was extremely active in the Yes on 8 campaign back in 2008. He is also currently an announced candidate for Yorba Linda City Council.

Readers help me out by adding info on any candidates that I may have left out and feel free to fill me in on the candidates I found nothing on.
